The Leadership of the City of Farmers Branch appreciates the effort, dedication, and time our employees put into their jobs. The City has a program to recognize employees for depicting these values. We appreciate and recognize our employees’ hard work and efforts. Tonight, we recognize Rafael Dominguez, Fleet Technician, in our Fleet & Facilities Department, as our Employee of the Month for the month of December 2023.
Rafael Dominguez had proven himself to be an invaluable employee since November of 2021 when he first joined the City. He consistently goes above and beyond, from aiding a stranded coworker during a storm to volunteering extra time to ensure a Police Department vehicle's readiness. His accountability and care shine through. Notably, on Christmas Day, he promptly fixed a disabled ambulance despite being over an hour away, showcasing his dedication to our City's fleet. Rafael's commitment and swift response to calls for help to our City vehicles embodies REACT. We cannot work as efficiently as we do without employees like Rafael. We are thankful to have him as part of our team.
