BACKGROUND:
The City of Farmers Branch emphasizes and recognizes schools' vital role in the success of our City and the community. The Parish Episcopal School's Midway campus, located near the Tollway and IH-635 on Sigma Road in Farmers Branch, serves over 750 students and is home to the Panther Athletics.
Again this year, the Parish Episcopal School Panthers football program has defended its State Title! The Panthers defeated Houston St. Thomas, 40 - 29. Securing their fifth straight State title, the Parish Episcopal won the state championship in the highest classification in the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS). This success resonates with the Athletic Philosophy at Parish Episcopal to further the school's mission of using Athletics to build future leaders with an emphasis on excellence and a focus on Academics, Athletics, Student-Athlete Welfare, Diversity, Equity, Advocacy, and School Relations. Tonight, we recognize the time, energy, and talents of the champion Parish Episcopal Panthers and the sacrifices made to get to this point.
