Consider approving Resolution No. 2024-036 authorizing the purchase of bleachers for the Parks and Recreation Department from Key Installations via the City’s cooperative agreement with Buyboard in the amount of $75,113, and take appropriate action.

BACKGROUND:
The current bleachers at the Recreation Center gym located at 14050 Heartside are over fifteen years old, and parts are obsolete and/or no longer available, making repairs and maintenance difficult and costly. Updating the bleachers will ensure the safety of our citizens. Funds have been budgeted for this purchase in the fiscal year 2023-2024 Facilities Department budget.
DISCUSSION:
The Facilities Department and the Parks and Recreation Department have evaluated the quote received and determined the bleachers from Key Installations meet the specifications needed. The quote was obtained through BuyBoard in the amount of $75,113.
