Receive an update on the Active Transportation Plan from the Public Works Department.

BACKGROUND:
Representatives with the Public Works Department will review the current draft of the Active Transportation Plan with the Board. The plan will be replacing the current Parks Trails Master Plan adopted in 2015. The Active Transportation Plan will modify the focus from just park trail opportunities within the City to a broader approach studying various other modes of pedestrian and bicycle usage.
Once the draft is completed, the final plan will be considered for adoption by the City Council. Consideration and adoption are anticipated to be completed late spring or summer of 2024.
