Consider adopting Ordinance No. 3868, adopting amendments to the Home Rule Charter approved by the voters of the City of Farmers Branch at an election held on May 4, 2024; and take appropriate action.

BACKGROUND:
On May 14, 2024, the City Council canvassed the results of the May 4, 2024, election and declared that the majority of the votes cast were “against” the adoption of Proposition D and the majority of the votes cast were “for” the adoption of Propositions E through M, thereby amending the Home Rule Charter.
Propositions E through M, approved and adopted by the voters, have amended the Home Rule Charter and are attached in Exhibit A of Ordinance 3868 for adoption.
