Committee members can recommend topics that they would like discussed at future meetings.
Topics that have previously been mentioned include:
• Rewilding landscapes (grow zones, wildflower/pollinator gardens in Parks)
• Zoning and attainable housing
• Updates on the draft tree preservation ordinance
• Committee recommendation on the landscape ordinance amendments
• Ally corporate sustainability initiatives
• Expansion of composting opportunities to increase landfill diversion
• Low cost solutions to prevent stormwater runoff
• Traffic signal timing
• Annual presentation from Dallas College
• Water pipe replacements
• Update on Denton Drive Live outreach
