BACKGROUND:
The Achievement of Excellence Award program recognizes the statutory requirements and demands for the Texas Municipal Clerk's Office's effective and efficient management of resources for proper governance. The award recognizes municipal clerk’s offices throughout the State of Texas who have demonstrated excellence in nine of twelve categories, such as board and commission management, governmental transparency, records management, open meeting acts, public information act, elections management, and more.
The City of Farmers Branch City Secretary’s Office has clearly demonstrated the standards that qualify for the Office of Excellence Award for 2024-2025. This is the third consecutive year that the City Secretary’s Office has received this award.
