BACKGROUND:
The staff has worked with representatives of Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD regarding the possible redevelopment of Farmers Branch Elementary School and its subsequent redevelopment of Cox Park.
DISCUSSION:
At the July 16, 2024, City Council meeting, staff provided an overview of the project. This study session will provide an opportunity for the City Council to review the proposed project with the school district design consultants and learn more about its details. This is an informational meeting; no action will be taken due to this being the very early stages of the redevelopment process.
