BACKGROUND:
In 2019, the City approved the purchase of a structural steel building with Resolution No. 2019-053 for additional storage at the Senlac Service Center. The building needs a concrete pad to be fully functional. The Senlac Service Center currently has no excess storage needed by the Public Works and Parks and Recreation Department.
DISCUSSION:
The Facilities Department released Bid No. 24-29 for the installation of a concrete and pre-fabrication building for the Service Center. In response, the City received two bids for just the concrete installation, and the lowest bid has been selected. Since no bids were received for the building installation, the City will have to bid in the future as a separate project.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Budgeted Financial Impact $119,000.
