Body
BACKGROUND:
The original Oran Good All Children Playground had become outdated and no longer met the needs of our growing city. The park underwent a transformative redesign to address this and emerged as Joya Oran Good Park. The name "Joya," meaning "jewel" in Spanish, reflects the park's crowning feature: The Orb structure, a centerpiece that embodies the park’s brilliance. The vision for Joya was to offer an innovative and thrilling experience for the youth of Farmers Branch. This vision has come to life as a one-of-a-kind glow-in-the-dark playground, enabling children to explore and play even after sunset. Joya now stands as a vibrant, dynamic space that redefines outdoor recreation and strengthens our community's connection to nature and one another.
