Discussion regarding 2025 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting dates.

BACKGROUND:
The purpose of this item is to discuss the proposed 2025 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting dates. The Commission normally meets the second and fourth Mondays of each month; however, there are instances in which the dates must be adjusted to account for City Council’s meeting schedule, holidays, and Commissioners’ schedules. Per the City’s Code of Ordinances, the Commission shall have at least one regular meeting in each month.
The proposed calendar follows the Commission’s normal schedule with the following exceptions:
• May - Proposing one meeting scheduled for the second Monday (May 12, 2025) to account for the Memorial Day Holiday (May 26, 2025).
• November - proposing one meeting on the second Monday (November 10, 2025) due to holiday schedules.
• December - proposing one meeting on the second Monday (December 8, 2025) due to holiday schedules.
A joint meeting with City Council will be held on Monday, June 9, 2025.
