Consider approving Resolution No. 2025-045 approving a calendar of events for recognition by the City Council; and take appropriate action.

BACKGROUND:
At the January 21, 2025, City Council meeting, Mayor Pro Tem Omar Roman requested a future agenda item related to the discussion of a calendar outlining the celebration or recognition of holidays and events that may accompany a proclamation.
This item was discussed at the February 18, 2025, City Council meeting. The direction given during the meeting was to add recognition of the following events: 1) St. Patrick’s Day, 2) Mother’s Day, 3) Father’s Day, and 4) Hispanic Heritage Month, and bring back for action.
The City Council will decide whether the event is delineated as a Proclamation or social media post.
The requesting council member will lead the discussion, with the mayor facilitating it. Staff will be present to answer any questions.

2. I move to approve Resolution No. 2025-045 with modifications.
