Discuss appointments to the Arts and Culture Committee and create a slate list for appointment consideration.

BACKGROUND:
The current roster, vacancies, and reappointment considerations are outlined below for the Arts and Culture Committee, along with applicants who applied for this board or have listed as their second choice for consideration.
Ordinance No. 3567, which created the Arts and Culture Committee and outlined the composition and term limits, states that member representatives for Place 1, 2, and 3 representing Brookhaven College, Carrollton/Farmers Branch ISD, and Firehouse Theatre shall be appointed at the discretion of the Council from names provided by the respective entities and shall have indefinite length terms commencing after appointment. All current members for Place 1, 2, and 3 have stated their desire to continue serving in their current capacity, representing their specific organizations. With no set term limits for Places 1, 2, and 3, the table below reflects reappointments for those positions with terms expiring in June 2025.
Places 4 and 5 are being considered for reappointment, and Places 6, 7, and Alternate 1 are currently vacant.

RECOMMENDATION:
City Administration recommends the following:
- Affirm reappointment status of Places 1, 2, and 3 with terms ending June 30, 2025.
- Affirm appointments/reappointments for Places 4 and 5 with terms ending June 30, 2025.
- Affirm appointments to Places 6 and 7 with a term ending June 30, 2024.
- Affirm appointment to Alternate 1 position with a term ending June 30, 2025.
