Discuss appointments to the Manske Library Board and the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Building Code Board of Appeals.

BACKGROUND:
Manske Library Board:
With the resignation of Ling Zeng from the Manske Library Board, a vacancy has been created. As the position vacated is Place 3, typically, the Alternate 1 position would be promoted to Place 3, Alternate 2 would move to Alternate 1, and a new appointment would be made to the Alternate 2 position.
The following adjustments are being considered:
• Promote Zechariah Thompson, Alternate 1, to the Place 3 position with a term expiring June 30, 2025.
• Promote Allison Lucero, Alternate 2, to the Alternate 1 position with a term expiring June 30, 2025.
• Fill the Alternate 2 position with a new appointment for a partial term expiring on June 30, 2024.
A total of two applications are on file that would like to be considered for the Manske Library Board. Those applications include:
• Kaitlin McDermott
• Johana Jimenez

Zoning Board of Adjustments and Building Code Board of Appeals:
With the resignation of Member Elizabeth Aviles, a vacancy has been created for Place 3 on the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Building Code Board of Appeals. Typically, the vacancy would be filled with the Alternate 1 position, the Alternate 2 position would be promoted to Alternate 1, and the vacated Alternate 2 position would be filled with a new appointment.
The following adjustments are being considered:
• Promote Cameron Arceneaux, Alternate 1, to the Place 3 position with a term expiring June 30, 2024.
• Promote Patricia Driscoll, Alternate 2, to the Alternate 1 position with a term expiring June 30, 2024.
• Fill the vacated Alternate 2 position with a new applicant with a term expiring June 30, 2025.
A total of two applications are on file that would like to be considered for the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Building Code Board of Appeals. Those applications include:
• Andrew Jones
• Wayne Reynolds
