Presentation of a service award to Bob Bull for twenty-five years (25) of service in the Parks and Recreation Department.

BACKGROUND:
Bob Bull began his employment with the Parks and Recreation Department as a Foreman on August 15, 1988. In May of 1992, he was promoted to Chemical Specialist and is responsible for treating and/or preventing various weed and pest problems throughout the City's parks, medians, and rights-of-way.
Bob is a Master Texas Certified Nurseryman, Master Certified Professional Turf Manager, a Licensed Irrigator, and a Licensed Chemical Applicator. Bob consistently receives high praise from the Texas Department of Agriculture for his professional ability to apply chemicals, maintain the appropriate chemical related records, and to store a small inventory in a safe and appropriate manner. Bob displays excellent chemical planning and application skills and the results are seen in his assignments.
Bob has been a resident of Farmers Branch since 1967. He is an Eagle Scout and continues to assist other scouts in achieving the same honor. He has also enjoyed assisting with Little League in Farmers Branch, as well as with the baseball programs at T.C. Marsh Middle School and W.T. White High School.
Bob is a 32 (thirty second) degree Scottish Rite Mason and Shriner. He is Past Master of the James A. Smith Masonic Lodge and now serves as the Chaplain. He is a Trustee and the current President of the United Methodist Men's Group at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church.
