BACKGROUND:
At the October 8, 2025, and November 4, 2025, City Council meetings, the City Attorneys presented a draft proposal of the City Council Rules of Procedure.
The City Attorney has modified the draft Rules of Procedure based on the Council’s feedback from those meetings. A redline version of the Rules of Procedure has been provided to outline changes.
DISCUSSION:
Council will discuss approving Resolution No. 2025-217, which establishes the Rules of Procedure for the City Council.
This staff report is prepared by the staff to assist with the discussion. The City Attorney will be available to answer any questions the Council may have.
