BACKGROUND:
Diplomat Real Estate, LLC is the owner of a 3.702 acre previously developed tract of land and building addressed as 2170 Diplomat Drive that is presently platted as Valwood Park Farmers Branch Phase Two, Lot 2A, Block 7. The owners are requesting to re-plat the property as Chamberlin Addition, Lot 1, Block A.
 
The re-plat is required for the purposes of abandoning an existing drainage easement that was dedicated by plat and for dedicating a water easement for looping a water main to the adjacent development located to the west.
 
DISCUSSION:
The final plat was approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission on September 8, 2014. The final plat is consistent with the Texas Local Government Code and the City's requirements for a re-plat and also consistent with the City's Core Value No.3 to provide strong, thriving commercial and residential neighborhoods through planning, land use, development, code enforcement, revitalization activities and programs.
 
RECOMMENDATION:
The Planning and Zoning Commission recommends approval of the final plat of Chamberlin Addition, Lot 1, Block A.
