Body

REQUESTOR:

Councilmember Elizabeth Villafranca

INTRODUCTION BY THE MAYOR:

Metrocrest Services is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals and families to achieve self-sufficiency and foster independence. Its services range from providing access to nutritious food and resources to combating homelessness to offering education and support for financial stability and healthcare access.

For the past 13 years, Tracy Eubanks has faithfully served as CEO of Metrocrest Services. Under his leadership, the organization experienced significant growth, completed a comprehensive rebranding, and relocated its headquarters to a new facility in the heart of the community. His steadfast commitment to service and to the community has created a lasting impact that will benefit the organization for generations to come.

Tracy’s leadership and dedication are deeply appreciated, and we extend our sincere gratitude along with our very best wishes for a happy and well-deserved retirement.

BACKGROUND:

Tracy Eubanks served as CEO of Metrocrest Services from 2013. Before his service with Metrocrest Services, he served as president of the Metrocrest Chamber of Commerce and as a leader at Mapsco, Inc. He has served on the board of the Texas Retailers Association and the International Map Trade Association. Currently, he serves on the North Texas Food Bank Perot Family Campus Board and the Advisory Board for the University of North Texas Non-Profit Leadership Studies Program. Tracy plans to begin new adventures with his wife and family in his retirement.

In February of 2026, the City of Farmers Branch issued a proclamation to Tracy for his retirement event hosted by Metrocrest Services.
