INTRODUCTION BY THE MAYOR:
ATMOS Energy has a well-established corporate giving program and makes regular contributions throughout communities in North Texas. While many of its donations support education initiatives and non-profit organizations, the company also provides generous support to fire departments, police departments, and other first responders.
On behalf of the City Council, we express our sincere appreciation to ATMOS for their generous donation and their support of our local heroes.
DISCUSSION:
Approval of Resolution No. 2026-097 will authorize the acceptance of a donation from ATMOS Energy Corporation for the Farmers Branch Fire Department in the amount of $1,500.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Donation to the Farmers Branch Fire Department in the amount of $1,500.
