Farmers Branch Keenan Cemetery
Coordinates the placement of flags on Veterans' graves for Memorial Day, 250th Anniversary of America's Independence, and Veterans Day. Coordinates the cemetery's participation in Wreaths Across America and the placement of wreaths on the Veterans' graves.

STEPS (Standards and Excellence Program for History Organizations)
STEPS is American Association for State and Local History's self-study, self-paced assessment program designed specifically for small to mid-sized history organizations, including volunteer-run institutions. Through a workbook, online resources, and an online community, the 1,100+ organizations enrolled in STEPS review their policies and practices and benchmark themselves against national museum standards. As a history organization makes progress in the program, they will earn progress certificates from AASLH that communicate those achievements to their community and stakeholders.
The American Alliance of Museums (AAM) Accreditation Program is the premier voluntary, peer-reviewed assessment for U.S. museums, ensuring quality, credibility, and ethical standards. The process involves self-study, site visits, and reviews of core documents, resulting in accreditation that lasts 10 years and signifies excellence. It helps institutions improve operations, secure funding, and gain public trust. The Historical Park last participated in this accreditation process in 2002.
