BACKGROUND:
As a matter of practice, the City Council has excused the absence of a City Councilmember when a member has an excusable absence. By excusing an absence, the City Councilmember is not penalized for using one of the three absences allowed in the Charter.
DISCUSSION:
The City Council may wish to consider excusing Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Roger Neal from the November 17, 2025, Special Called City Council Meeting.
POSSIBLE COUNCIL ACTION:
1. I move to approve the absence as presented.
2. I move to table the issue for further study or take no action.
