Body
BACKGROUND:
In an effort to promote economic vitality and enhance the community's appearance, City Administration is proposing a revision of the existing ordinance regarding both attached and freestanding signs (Ordinance No. 2957).  The proposed Ordinance No. 3247 both simplifies and improves many of the dimensional and material requirements for signage within the City. For example, the proposed ordinance eliminates the future use of new freestanding pole signs throughout the City, and instead promotes the future use of monument and pylon signs.
