BACKGROUND:
The Star Center Multi-Sport Center is scheduled to have a substantial completion date by the end of 2024. As part of this project, a gas line is required to be installed in the new facility.
DISCUSSION:
The City of Farmers Branch reached out to three Atmos approved installation companies and bids received ranged from $81,178 to $146,617. The City reviewed all three bids and the bid of $87,874 was selected based on the company’s work history and reputation with municipalities.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Unbudgeted financial impact of $87,874 to be allocated from the Pike Bond Fund.
