Discuss three new policies that address the petition for Traffic Calming Measures, Stop Sign Addition or Illumination, and Traffic Signal Addition or Removal.

BACKGROUND:
Increased requests for traffic calming, the addition of traffic control devices, and increased call volume for the Police Department have initiated the need for additional policies.
DISCUSSION:
After reviewing recent requests, the Public Works Department deemed necessary the creation of a Stop Sign Petition Policy, a Traffic Calming Petition Policy, and the Traffic Signal Warrant Study Petition Policy. The aforementioned policies outline the process, items to be reviewed, and financial impacts associated with each traffic measure should it be studied and/or implemented.
