INTRODUCTION BY THE MAYOR:
On behalf of the City Council, I am pleased to announce that Christopher “Todd” Worley of the Fire Department is the Employee of the Month for July 2025.
BACKGROUND:
The City of Farmers Branch has a strong culture that nurtures respect, where we value everyone’s opinion and acknowledge their perspective. We strive for excellence and constantly look for ways to do our very best. We believe in accountability, and we care and trust. These are the city’s core values.
The Leadership of the City of Farmers Branch appreciates the effort, dedication, and time our employees put into their job. The City has a program to recognize employees for depicting these values. We appreciate and recognize our employees’ hard work and efforts.
Tonight, we recognize Christopher “Todd” Worley as our Employee of the Month for the month of July to highlight Todd’s selfless dedication and unwavering commitment to his team. In a recent situation that posed a significant staffing challenge, Todd voluntarily stepped in to ensure that the impact did not fall on members of another shift. This act of service exemplifies Todd’s consistent willingness to put the needs of others before his own. It is an outstanding reflection of his character and the values of our department. Thank you, Todd, for your leadership, teamwork, and continued service to our community.
