BACKGROUND:
By state law, agencies are required to vote by official ballot resolution on the nominees that are submitted for consideration to serve on the Board of Directors of the Dallas Central Appraisal District.  This action must be done by December 16, 2013 and returned to the Dallas Central Appraisal District.

Ms. Wanda Adams
Mr. Loren Byers
Mr. Michael Hurt
Mr. Gerald W. Lemons
 
DISCUSSION:
Resolution No. 2013-069 has been prepared for the City Council to use for casting their vote for a representative to serve on the Board of Directors of the Dallas Central Appraisal District.
 
RECOMMENDATION:
City Administration recommends approving Resolution No. 2013-069 casting a vote for Michael Hurtt to serve a representative on the Board of Directors of the Dallas Central Appraisal District.
 
ACTIONS:
1)      Motion to approve Resolution No. 2013-069 casting a vote for Michael Hurtt to serve as the suburban cities' representative to the Board of Directors of the Dallas Central Appraisal District.
2)      Motion to deny Resolution No. 2013-069 casting a vote for Michael Hurtt to serve as the suburban cities' representative to the Board of Directors of the Dallas Central Appraisal District.
3)      Motion to modify to meet the needs of the Council.
4)      Motion to table the issue for further study or take no action.
