BACKGROUND:
The FY2022-23 Fixed Asset Fund for vehicles and equipment includes $140,000 for the purchase of one new Ford F550 Bucket Truck for Parks Maintenance. This purchase supports Critical Business Outcome - Plan for, build, and maintain high-quality public assets.
DISCUSSION:
The City of Farmers Branch requested a quotation from Buyboard Purchasing Contract. City Administration evaluated the quotation as to meeting specifications and desire to award the purchase of the new Ford F550 Bucket Truck to Rockdale Country Ford.
The FY2022-23 budget amount for the vehicle is $140,000. The quotations for the new Ford F550 Bucket Truck came in at $185,464. The remaining balance of $45,464 is being funded from the mid-year approved budget fleet replacement cost increase adjustment.

Budgeted Financial Impact - $185,464
RECOMMENDATION:
City Administration recommends approving Resolution No. 2023-082.
