BACKGROUND:
When the City acquired the property on the SE corner of Josey and Valley View, the goal was to deliver a development consistent with the Four Corners Vision Plan. One element of that plan was to activate Veronica Road with a residential use. Although Walmart Neighborhood Market is open and Panda Express has arrived, the strip of land on Veronica Road is still vacant. Councilman Tim Scott has asked Staff Administration to consider converting that property to a neighborhood park. The Economic Development team will present various land use options, including a park concept, along with cost and revenue projections for each.
