Discuss and provide direction regarding City Council liaison appointments to external organizations, and a new appointment related to the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District (CFBISD) Education Liaison.

BACKGROUND:
Each year, and following each election cycle, the City Council conducts a review of the local organizations and volunteer positions designated for City Council liaison appointments. With the recent election held on November 4, 2025, the Council will evaluate all current liaison assignments to determine whether any updates are necessary and to address any existing vacancies.
At the request of Mayor Terry Lynne, a new appointment for a liaison to the CFBISD is being considered.
DISCUSSION:
Currently, there are vacancies on the following committees/organizations outlined below:
• CFBISD Education Liaison
• Texas Municipal League (TML)
• Sister City Program
• North Texas Commission (NTC)
• Travel Expense Review Committee
