BACKGROUND:
Senlac Service Center is a city-owned property built in 1967 that houses the Public Works and Parks & Recreation Department’s field staff and equipment.

The roof at Senlac needs repairs. A condition assessment provided by Iliff & Associates in March 2024 listed poor membrane condition and the general overall condition of the roof.
DISCUSSION:
The job was competitively bid. The Department received six responsive bids. An evaluation committee reviewed and scored the bids on price, scope, warranty, and references. After review, it was determined that JJ Red Construction Company was the best value proposer.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Budgeted Financial Impact of $188,846 from the Senlac Service Center Capital Project Fund.
