BACKGROUND:
Elm Investments is the owner of a 1.659 acre tract of land near the southeast corner of Havenhurst Avenue and Elder Street, with frontage on Bee Street known as Lot 1, Block A, Precision Landscape Management Addition.
DISCUSSION:
The owner proposes to replat the property as Eichten-Land Plaza Addition, Lots 1, 2 and 3, Block A for the purpose of selling Lot 2 of the proposed plat for office use. The final plat of Eichten-Land Plaza Addition was approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission on September 23, 2013.
The proposed final plat of Eichten-Land Plaza Addition, Lots 1, 2 and 3, Block A is consistent with the Texas Local Government Code and the City platting requirements, and is also consistent with Farmers Branch Core Value No.3, providing strong, thriving commercial and residential neighborhoods through planning, land use, development, code enforcement, revitalization activities and programs.
RECOMMENDATION:
At their Regular Meeting on September 23rd, the Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously to recommend approval of the proposed final plat of Eichten-Land Plaza Addition, Lots 1, 2, and 3, Block A.
ACTIONS:
1) Motion to accept the final plat of Eichten-Land Plaza Addition, Lot 1, 2, and 3, Block A.
2) Motion to deny acceptance of the final plat of Eichten-Land Plaza Addition, Lot 1, 2, and 3, Block A.
3) Motion to modify to meet the needs of the City Council
4) Motion to table the item for further study or take no action.
