Discuss agenda items for future Sustainability Committee meetings

BACKGROUND:
Committee members can recommend topics that they would like to discuss at a future meeting.
Topics that have previously been mentioned include:
• Zoning and attainable housing
• Updates on the tree preservation ordinance
• Expansion of composting opportunities to increase landfill diversion
• Waste diversion opportunities
• Information on utility rebate programs
• Urban cooling - member presentation
• Discussion with Parks and/or school districts on native plantings
• Creating an online promotion or contest to help incentivize sustainable behaviors
• Expansion of the water rebate program to include turf buy-back and/or smart irrigation controllers
• Information on education events (Built and Natural Environment subcommittee)
• Landfill information
• Composting - member presentation
