BACKGROUND:
The FY 2023-24 Fleet Department budget allocates $55,878 for acquiring four (4) Heavy Duty Mobile Lift Stations, enhancing the capabilities of the Fleet and Facilities Department.
Fleet Manager Kevin Reinartz, Master Certified in Emergency Vehicle repairs, specializes in Ambulance, Fire, and Law Enforcement vehicles. The existing lifts at the Fleet Department need to be increased for the load capacity of larger emergency vehicles. This strategic purchase ensures that the Fleet Department is equipped with safe and efficient lifting solutions.
To fulfill the City of Farmers Branch’s needs, quotes were obtained through Buyboard, adhering to the City’s cooperative purchasing agreement.
