Body
BACKGROUND:
Each year the City provides funding to charitable organizations for services and/or programs.
Funding in the amount of $292,000 is included in the 2014-2015 fiscal year budget for the following agencies and organizations as listed below:
Farmers Branch Chamber of Commerce - $80,000
Metrocrest Chamber of Commerce - $7,500
Metrocrest Social Services - $175,000
The Family Place - $10,000
Metrocrest Community Clinic - $12,000
Bea's Kids - $7,500

City Administration has worked with the organizations that are funded in this fiscal year budget to develop contracts for services and/or programs that will be provided to the City or residents.  The contracts outline services to be provided, financial reporting requirements, where appropriate, and submission of a fiscal year financial statement provided by a certified public accountant is also required.

DISCUSSION:
The contracts are substantially the same as they were last year, however the funding amounts have been amended to reflect amounts included in the 2014-2015 fiscal year budget.
