BACKGROUND:
The Texas Recreation and Parks Society (TRAPS) holds an annual state equipment rodeo. Competitors from around the state who won in their respective regions compete at the State level during an event as part of the annual conference.
The TRAPS annual conference and rodeo was held on February 27, 2024, in Galveston, Texas. Roberto Sarabia represented the Parks and Recreation Department in the backpack blower competition. Roberto is a dedicated employee who has served the citizens of Farmers Branch for 26 years. He is a great leader and is a shining example to his fellow employees.
We are honored to recognize Roberto for his 2nd-place finish at the State competition.
