Elect a Mayor Pro Tem and Deputy Mayor Pro Tem for the period of June 2024 through May 2025; and take appropriate action.

BACKGROUND:
Annually, per Section 2.05 of the City’s Charter, the City Council shall elect from the Council Members a Mayor Pro Tem and a Deputy Mayor Pro Tem who will perform the duties of Mayor in the absence of the Mayor.
The Mayor Pro Tem and Deputy Mayor Pro Tem maintain voting rights on matters before the City Council when acting as Mayor.
ACTIONS:
Motion to nominate and elect a Mayor Pro Tem and Deputy Mayor Pro Tem for the period of June 2024 through May 2025.
