On behalf of the City Council, I am pleased to announce that Lisa Gilleland of the Public Works Department is the Employee of the Month for June 2025.
BACKGROUND:

Tonight, we are proud to honor an individual whose dedication and innovative spirit truly stand out.
Tonight, the City recognizes Lisa Gilleland as our Employee of the Month for June. Lisa has demonstrated exceptional initiative and expertise in her work with the City’s permitting and licensing software. What she has accomplished in such a short period is truly remarkable, taking on extra workload, aligning procedures, and reinventing processes with accountability and care. Lisa’s willingness to dive deep into complex issues, brainstorm solutions, and work diligently to upgrade these licenses exemplifies the core values we uphold.
