BACKGROUND:
Since 2020, the City has contracted with Bradley Tucker Investments, LLC, dba Instant Inspector, to provide inspection services. These services include environmental health inspections of permitted food establishments, as-needed inspections of pools and spas, follow-up and complaint-based inspections, food establishment plan reviews, pool and spa plan reviews, and, beginning in 2023, stormwater inspections.

The City and Bradley Tucker Investments, LLC, have negotiated amendments to the contract regarding the term and fees, reaching an agreement for consulting services as outlined in "Exhibit A" for a term of two years, with an annual amount not to exceed $70,000.

The City Manager is authorized to administer the approved contract on the City's behalf, including, but not limited to, approving amendments as deemed appropriate and necessary by the City Manager from time to time.

DISCUSSION:
The City's current contractor, Bradley Tucker Investments LLC, dba Instant Inspector, provides environmental and stormwater inspections in accordance with the City's adopted codes and ordinances.

This contract was executed on September 15, 2025, in accordance with the City's Purchasing Policy and procurement requirements. The contract amount is within the approval purview of the City Manager. However, following the purchasing policy, this agenda item meets the requirements and is being added to the agenda for affirmation.
