Parks and Recreation staff will recap the 2018 “Christmas In The Branch” holiday season and present options for 2019

BACKGROUND:
The Christmas Tour of Lights was discontinued and a new Christmas event was created starting in 2018. The event included the tree lighting at Liberty Plaza, an outdoor ice rink, and Holiday Markets at The Grove.
DISCUSSION:
The first year event was successful and overall was well received, in spite of very uncooperative weather that resulted in cancellation of one Holiday Market and cancellation of several days of outdoor ice skating. Staff will review the attached presentation and is seeking direction from Council relative to 2019 Christmas events.
