Consider a request for final plat approval of Multimedia Addition, Lots 1 and 2, Block A, located at the southeast corner of Diplomat Drive and Hutton Drive, and take appropriate action.

BACKGROUND:
GMJJ Properties, LLC is the owner of a 4.050 acre tract of land located at the southeast corner of Diplomat Drive and Hutton Drive. The property is presently platted as Lot 1, Block 5, Valwood Park Farmers Branch - Phase Two, previously platted in 1990. The owner desires to re-plat the property as Multimedia Addition, Lots 1 and 2, Block A, addressed as 2020 and 2030 Diplomat Drive, respectively.
DISCUSSION:
This re-plat is required prior to the owner's development of Lot 2. The owner intends to sell the remaining Lot 1.
The proposed final plat of Multimedia Addition, Lots 1 and 2, Block A was approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission on March 9, 2015. The proposed plat is consistent with the Texas Local Government Code and the City's platting requirements and also consistent with the City's Guiding Principles to provide strong, thriving commercial and residential neighborhoods through planning, land use, development, code enforcement, revitalization activities and programs.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Planning and Zoning Commission recommends final plat approval of Multimedia Addition, Lots 1 and 2, Block A.
