BACKGROUND:
This item has been placed on the agenda at the request of Brenda Brodick.
DISCUSSION:
Brenda Brodrick wishes to donate a Layhou Lam Outdoor Nativity display to be used at the Historical Park during the Christmas Tour of Lights. The Nativity display retails for $554.99.
RECOMMENDATION:
City Administration recommends that the City Council carefully consider the donation in terms of compatibility with the City's Christmas Tour of Lights theme (LED displays) and the very complicated constitutional issues which accompany the issue. More time, study and review might be warranted on this issue at this time.
