INTRODUCTION BY THE MAYOR:
Tonight, we recognize Leslie Smith, Senior Accountant for the Finance Department, as our Employee of the Month for the month of April.
BACKGROUND:

The Leadership of the City of Farmers Branch appreciates the effort, dedication, and time our employees put into their jobs. The city has a program to recognize employees who represent these values. We appreciate and recognize our employees’ hard work and efforts.
Leslie has served the City for 22 years. Through her hard work, excellence, and accountability, she has earned several promotions-from Customer Service Supervisor to Customer Success Manager, to her current role as Senior Accountant.
Leslie is known for more than just her professional growth. She is widely recognized for her respectful, caring, and trustworthy nature in every interaction, whether with a resident, a coworker, or a colleague. She is the kind of person who will take the time to walk through a complex financial issue with patience and clarity.
We are privileged to have Leslie as a valuable member of our team. Her contributions not only elevate her department but also the entire organization. Leslie, thank you for all that you do. We truly appreciate you.
