BACKGROUND:
A Code of Ethics complaint was filed on August 24, 2026, concerning an appointed member of the Farmers Branch Local Government Corporation Board of Directors. The City Council previously discussed the matter during the special-called meeting on September 29, 2026. Council requested that an item be placed on a future agenda for further consideration.
DISCUSSION:
This item gives the City Council an opportunity to further discuss the outcomes and, as permitted by law, consult with the City Attorney in Executive Session regarding legal considerations and the Council's authority.
The matter is presented for City Council consideration and determination.

POSSIBLE COUNCIL ACTION:
The City Council may consider and take appropriate action concerning an appointed member of the Farmers Branch Local Government Corporation Board of Directors, including providing direction regarding any further review, taking action within its legal authority, or determining that no further action is warranted.
