BACKGROUND:
The FY2022-23 Fixed Asset Fund for vehicles and equipment includes $90,000 for purchasing two new 2023 Ford Explorers for the Police Investigation Division. This purchase supports Critical Business Outcome - Plan for, build, and maintain high-quality public assets.
DISCUSSION:
The City of Farmers Branch requested a quotation from the Buyboard Purchasing Contract. City Administration evaluated the quotation to meet specifications and desire to award the purchase of two new 2023 Ford Explorers to Sam Pack’s Five Star Ford.
The FY2022-23 budget amount for the vehicles is $90,000. The quotation for two new Ford Explorers came in at $89,134. The remaining funds of $886 will be retained in the fixed asset fund.

RECOMMENDATION:
City Administration recommends approving Resolution No. 2023-085.
