BACKGROUND:
Staff is requesting direction on revisions to the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance (CZO), including Article 2.4 (Permitted Uses/Use Table) and Article 7 (Definitions). This project was included in the Planning and Zoning Commission’s annual update to Council on December 16, 2025. The update would: (1) define 104 uses currently listed but not defined; (2) consolidate uses where appropriate; (3) reorganize definitions into a more user-friendly format; and (4) address gaps in the current list of uses.
