BACKGROUND:

The City uses a virtual server environment to operate many of its essential technology systems. This environment supports day-to-day City operations across multiple departments and helps ensure that services to residents and businesses remain reliable and available. To keep this system secure and functioning properly, the City must renew the annual licensing, support, and maintenance agreement each year.

 

DISCUSSION:
The Council will discuss approving Resolution No. 2026-012 approving the renewal agreement for the licensing, maintenance, and support of the City’s virtual server environment. These services are necessary to ensure the systems running on this platform remain operational, secure, and supported, and protect the integrity and continuity of operations.

 

Staff are available for any questions from the Council.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

Budgeted financial impact approved as part of FY 2025-26 budget in the amount of $200,000.
