May 19 - 25, 2024, is National Public Works Week. Public Works professionals focus on infrastructure, facilities, and services vital to sustainable and resilient communities. Their work directly contributes to the public health, high quality of life, and well-being of the residents of Farmers Branch. From maintaining roads and bridges to managing water and waste systems, their efforts are instrumental in ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for all.
2024 marks the 64th annual National Public Works Week, sponsored by the American Public Works Association (APWA).
