BACKGROUND:
The North Dallas County Water Supply Corporation was created in 1991 through an interlocal agreement with the Town of Addison for the purpose of financing and constructing a sanitary sewer system tunnel to serve the east side of the City and the Town of Addison. The Corporate by-laws require the Corporation's Board of Directors adopt an annual budget and that the City Councils of Farmers Branch and Addison approve the adopted budget. The Board, which consists of three staff members from the City of Farmers Branch and three staff members from the Town of Addison, adopted the budget on July 23, 2012.
DISCUSSION:
The Board, which consists of three staff members from the City of Farmers Branch and three staff members from the Town of Addison, conducted a public meeting to approve the budget on July 11, 2013 and all members voted to approve the budget.
RECOMMENDATION:
City Administration recommends adopting Resolution No. 2013-049 approving the 2013-2014 Operating Fund Budget of the North Dallas County Water Supply Corporation.

- Motion to approve Resolution No. 2013-049 approving the 2013-14 Operating Budget of the North Dallas County Water Supply Corporation.
- Motion to deny Resolution No. 2013-049 approving the 2013-14 Operating Budget of the North Dallas County Water Supply Corporation.
- Motion to modify Resolution No. 2013-049 to meet the needs of the Council.
- Motion to table the issue for further study or take no action.
