INTRODUCTION BY THE MAYOR:
The Farmers Branch Woman’s Club has been a longstanding partner of the City, providing financial support for programs and initiatives that benefit the Farmers Branch community.
The Farmers Branch Woman’s Club is a nonprofit organization that provides philanthropic support to the Farmers Branch community through volunteer-led fundraising efforts. With the help of donations from local businesses, supporters, and club members, the Farmers Branch Woman’s Club supports local causes. They also provide scholarships to deserving students in the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District.
This donation by the Farmers Branch Woman’s Club demonstrates their continued support for City programs, particularly for The Branch Connection. We would like to thank the Farmers Branch Woman’s Club for this donation and their continued support of the City of Farmers Branch.
DISCUSSION:
Approval of Resolution No. 2026-085 will approve the receipt of the donation from the Farmers Branch Woman’s Club for The Branch Connection in the amount of $1,450.
