BACKGROUND:

The City of Farmers Branch remains committed to supporting programs and partnerships that enhance the health, well-being, and stability of residents throughout the community. Collaboration with nonprofit organizations such as Metrocrest Services allows the City to leverage regional resources and nonprofit expertise to provide critical assistance to individuals and families facing food insecurity, financial hardship, housing instability, and other challenges. Through these partnerships, the City is able to strengthen community support systems, expand access to essential services, and further its commitment to maintaining a safe, connected, and resilient community for all residents.

As part of this commitment, the City of Farmers Branch provides financial support to nonprofit organizations that deliver essential programs and services benefiting Farmers Branch residents through its five-year service agreement with Metrocrest Services. Through this partnership, the City helps strengthen community support systems, address resident needs, and enhance quality of life by expanding access to critical assistance programs and social services.
